Collective Carpentry typically leaves a site only after a “hand-off” to the site general contractor is made, which involves preparing him or her for necessary considerations to maintain the integrity of the airtight layers and to properly handle services, penetrations, windows, doors, and other elements involving the building envelope. This includes material recommendations, window installation instructions, and other considerations typical of high performance building best practices of which the general contractor may not be familiar.
In cases where additional services are requested and installation teams are available, Collective Carpentry can provide window installation and blower door services to certain projects in certain geographic areas.
