Pattern House is a single-family residence designed by Shape Architecture Studio. The house is inspired in myriad ways by Christopher Alexander’s seminal book about good architecture, “A Pattern Language” – a must-read if you’re not already familiar.

This project also featured a separate studio and garage with slightly thinner wall profiles, and glulam beams and an exo roof structure connecting the main house and studio.
This project is aiming for PHIUS Passive House certification.
